For fans who are sad to see The Walking Dead ending, the new The Walking Dead Universe Roleplaying Game is here with all the hard choices, zombie fights, and character narratives that got people so invested in the long-running show.

The new game from AMC Networks, Free League Publishing, and Genuine Entertainment will bring The Walking Dead Universe to tabletop roleplayers. People who love the show or comics will be able to experience the setting personally with their own characters. Instead of watching Rick Grimes make difficult decisions, the players will have to decide for themselves how to handle survival in the zombie apocalypse.

And much like the TV series, the game isn’t just centered around combat with “walkers” (zombies). The character beats will be central to the game, with player characters exploring their personal narratives in the harsh apocalyptic environment.

Anticipating the release of the new game, AMC Networks, Free League, and Genuine Entertainment are also developing a Liveplay series that will feature players filmed in real-time. This series is expected to feature some familiar characters and events from the show and will be great for anyone who enjoys liveplay tabletop or is itching for more Walking Dead content.
