Nintendo is bringing a multitude of gaming fun to San Diego this week.
Ahead of the kickoff for Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), Nintendo is plotting four days of fun for the July 18-21 event.
At the Nintendo booth (No. 235), the focus will be exclusively on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, which becomes available on July 19, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. If superheroes aren’t your thing (which, being Comic-Con, seems weird), gamers can check out even more titles over at the Nintendo Gaming Lounge at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, located at 333 W. Harbor Drive, directly adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center. Entry to the lounge is free to all.
Playable games for Nintendo Switch will include Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Super Mario Maker 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, and Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda.
The Nintendo Gaming Lounge will also feature special photo ops, a My Nintendo Check-In spot for the final Splatoon 2 Splatfest; the debut of Nintendo candies by Sugarfina; hands-on play with Mattel’s new Mario Kart Hot Wheels; reps from Disguise showing off their latest Nintendo-themed character costumes; and special Super Mario Maker 2 kiosks that feature a Southwest Airlines course.
Additionally, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will be featured in the Marvel Games panel taking place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18 in Hall H. Fans will also be able to purchase the SDCC exclusive Metal Mario die-cast vehicle at the Mattel booth (No. 2945), while supplies last.
