Star Trek

The ultimate Star Trek celebration is coming to Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC).

For the first time, three back-to-back panels of Star Trek programs will headline Hall H during the con. Panels will feature Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard starring Patrick Stewart, and animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks – all on Saturday, July 20.

On Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., fans can enter the Star Trek universe in Hall H for a block of panels charting the space frontiers with the cast and creative team. To discuss the CBS All Access series, star Sonequa Martin-Green and executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Michelle Paradise, and Heather Kadin will speak with guest star and moderator Tig Notaro. Co-creator Mike McMahan and special guests will screen an exclusive first look at the upcoming animated series Lower Decks. Picard, in its SDCC debut, will bring together actors Stewart, Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, and Harry Treadaway, who will appear alongside executive producers Kurtzman, Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman, and Kadin.

In addition to the three major panels, Star Trek will be popping up around the show floor with different events, activations, and exclusive merch. At the Star Trek Universe booth (No.4237), fans can board the U.S.S. Discovery and experience star meet-and-greets on Saturday.

Fans can explore the Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty Exhibit and its collection of original props, costumes, and artifacts based on Picard’s journey and career at the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery. Not only can you see original props and Starfleet uniforms in person, but the exhibit will also display new items from the upcoming CBS All Access series and provide fans the opportunity to purchase some con-exclusive Picard merch and win giveaways.

Look out for the Star Trek Universe exclusive pins both at the booth and the gallery during the weekend. Limited-quantity pins, designed like a fleet visitor’s badge, will be available to fans who visit the Star Trek transporter experience, the booth, or the Lower Decks panel. A replica emblem pin of the Picard family crest will be available at the art gallery for visiting fans.
