Do the soundtracks from Sonic the Hedgehog games fill you with nostalgia?
If so, you’ll want to compare your calendar with the newest Sonic Symphony World Tour dates! SEGA superfans who subscribe to the Symphony newsletter can get their hands on pre-sale tickets for the newest show dates starting this Thursday, May 25. Public tickets will go on sale the next day, May 26.
The Symphony is a huge concert experience honoring three decades of music from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Each musical piece is played by a live orchestra and rock band, with everything from 8-bit classics to EDM songs. Synchronized gameplay from the games will play along to fully encapsulate the Sonic experience.
The show will be kicking off in London on Sept. 16 at the Barbican Hall. For those in the U.S., the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles will have a showing of the symphony on Sept. 30. Special guests will be featured at different performances, with more dates and guest details on the way.
The world tour announcement follows the Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Symphony and Brazil Game Show 2022 performances, both standalone shows full of beloved Sonic game tunes.
The Sonic Symphony World Tour is co-produced by SEGA, Soundtrec, and SOHO Live, and presented by MGP Live. To purchase tickets or sign up for the newsletter, head over to the official Sonic Symphony website.
