sonic

It’s full-speed ahead for the blue blur following a physical reworking of the title character that pushed back the intended release of Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog.

Beginning next month, Sega of America and its licensing partners will unleash an onslaught of Sonic-branded merch for fans of all ages. Jakks Pacific will lead the charge with a full range of playsets and plush figures based on the film in select territories, and select Build-a-Bear Workshop locations will debut a range of specialty plush and accompanying accessories. Diamond Select Toys (DST) will release a detailed premium statue to specialty retailers next spring, and Toy Factory and Sega Amusement will bring novelty products and prize redemption items to amusement parks and family attractions.

For fans who would like to wear their love of Sonic, Bioworld and Bentex will handle apparel for the U.S. And if you want to bring Sonic the Hedgehog into the bedroom, Jay Franco can help make that happen with a fresh collection of Sonic bedding and accessories.

But will there be a Doctor Robotnik duvet cover?
