Spice Girls

The Spice Girls‘ reunion tour is coming to an end this week, but the fab five (yes, that’s right, all five of them!) is blessing us with the promise of another Spice Girls movie — this time a cartoon version.

Paramount Animation is in the early stages of development for an animated feature film featuring all five members: Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), and even Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), who did not join the other women on their reunion tour. The film will include classic Spice Girls songs from the ‘90s in addition to brand new songs.

Simon Fuller is producing the film, and Karen McCullah and Kiwi Smith are writing the screenplay.

Spice World, the first Spice Girls movie, came out two decades ago in 1997.
