Catch the latest Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker preview on Fortnite this Saturday.
Never-before-seen footage from the upcoming Star Wars release will be available to Fortnite players in the Risky Reels section of the Battle Royale map. The digital “doors” will open at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, and J.J. Abrams will unveil the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker sneak peek a half-hour later at 2 p.m.
Anyone who attends the virtual event will receive a free TIE Whisper Glider to use in the game. (See it in action in the video bel0w!)
In honor of this intergalactic event, there are also new Star Wars-themed outfits, gliders, pickaxes and emotes for sale in the Fortnite item shop. Players can get theirs now and come to the sneak peek dressed as Rey, Finn, and more!
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the ninth and final episode in the iconic Skywalker saga. It will star Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, and Mark Hamill, among others. J.J. Abrams returns to the director’s chair after stepping aside for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker will premier in Los Angeles on Dec. 16 and worldwide on Dec. 20, just in time for the holiday season.
