Paradise has officially closed its doors for the summer, leading into this winter’s premiere of The Bachelor. While ABC had a number of suitors in the running for the gig, eventually Peter Weber (aka Pilot Pete from Hannah Brown’s season) edged out his competitors, Mike Johnson and Derek Peth, to secure the coveted job of handing out the roses.
During the reunion special of Bachelor in Paradise — at the tail-end of the taping — Weber was brought out to kickstart his journey to find “his girl.”
In case you need a refresher, Weber was a fan-favorite on Brown’s season of The Bachelorette from the first night, coming in third place after his windmill Fantasy Suite escapades. The 27-year-old Delta airline pilot grew up in Southern California — just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Bachelor Mansion. In fact, he revealed during the broadcast that, in high school, he attempted to “sneak into” the mansion during filming. Now, it’s Weber’s turn to hand out the roses.
After ABC’s big announcement, the series revealed on Facebook the lineup of the young women vying for Pilot Pete’s affections.
Who will get your final rose? ??
