the crown season 3

Get read,y royals stans! You won’t need to wait much longer for the third season of Netflix‘s The Crown. Today, Netflix UK and Ireland dropped a short teaser video/date announcement for the popular series.

Not only does it give us our first look at Olivia Coleman as Queen Elizabeth II (she is taking over the role from Claire Foy, as the character has aged), but it also gives us a release date for the new season: Nov. 17.

This means it will be nearly two years between seasons, as Netflix released the second season of The Crown on Dec. 8, 2017.

Season three is set to start in 1965 and will feature a full new cast, including Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Tobias Menzies as Prince Phillip, and Ben Daniels as Lord Snowdon.

Check out the teaser below, and start rewatching the first two seasons now to get ready!
