The CW is known for bringing iconic DC heroes to life with kick-butt adventures, emotional complexities, and real-life drama on the small screen. So, any new series has a high bar to live up to, and it’s clear Clark Kent and Lois Lane are ready to tackle the daily challenges in Metropolis.

Fresh off of the “Elseworlds” and upcoming “Crisis On Infinite Earths” DC crossovers, the CW is eyeing a new series starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as a loved-up Superman and Lois Lane, according to Variety.

The new series is currently in development right now from The Flash showrunner Todd Helbing, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television. The show would follow Superman and wife Lane, an acclaimed journalist, as they deal with the stress, pressures, and challenges of being working parents in today’s world. That’s it, I’m SOLD.

After Hoechlin played Kent on Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow — joined by Tulloch’s Lane on Supergirl and The Flash — the duo certainly has the chemistry to play one of the most famous hero couples and do it right.
