More details are trickling out about Scott Gimple’s Walking Dead movies featuring Rick Grimes, but it’s not Andrew Lincoln spilling the beans. Pollyanna McIntosh, who plays Jadis AKA Anne on The Walking Dead, discussed the trilogy at Fan Fest San Jose last weekend.

Jadis/Anne was the one who orchestrated Rick’s departure in Lincoln’s final episode, “What Comes After,” arranging for the mystery helicopter to take him away after he blew up the bridge. McIntosh is now hoping that she’ll make an appearance in the AMC movies. “We’re going to see where Rick is, so she would be there,” McIntosh said at Fan Fest. “Things are in process right now. It’s exciting. I’m not ready to leave her behind yet.”

Chief content officer Gimple previously confirmed that Jadis/Anne will make an appearance in one or more of the movies, which makes sense since she was on board the helicopter with Rick when he made his escape.

McIntosh said there is no finalized script yet, but that the movie will explain the community the helicopter came from, as well as where Rick and Jadis are headed.

There’s no word yet on when or where production will begin.
