Uniqlo is launching a new collab, and we gotta wear ‘em all! The company is teaming up with The Pokémon Company for a Kanto-core collection inspired by the timeless Pokémon Trading Card Game (Pokémon TCG) and its digital counterpart, Pokémon TCG Pocket.
Although Uniqlo has worked with Pokémon before, this is its first line centered solely around the TCG’s artwork. Fans can collect tees and sweatshirts spotlighting the lovable Pocket Monsters in a variety of sizes, including kids’ apparel. From full card illustrations and silhouettes to subtle nostalgia, every piece is a total catch.

There’s no shortage of Pikachu variants to catch, so why not rock ‘em all? This black tee compiles dozens of Pikachu cards to create a silhouette that honors the character’s greatest hits. The line’s remaining four tees focus on a single Pokémon illustration. Some translate the artwork very literally, like the Mega Symphonia Mega Gardevoir ex and Omanyte tees, while others take a more playful approach, such as the soft lavender Slowpoke or “Expert Splasher” Magikarp.

Whether in a fierce gym battle or snoozing on the couch, every fan can cozy up with these Pokémon-inspired sweatshirts. This pack of pullovers stars four legendary Pokémon. If you love the classic TCG, you can snag a sleepy Snorlax or Unown design inspired by their iconic cards. Those who prefer dueling online on Pokémon TCG Pocket can find two app-exclusive illustrations: Genetic Apex Gengar ex and Genetic Apex Mewtwo ex. As a cool nod to gamers, the sweatshirts all feature little Pokémon cards along the hem.
And that’s not all! To celebrate the collection, Uniqlo is releasing a special edition of their in-store magazine with an exclusive paper Pokémon TCG playmat. On the back of the playmat, fans can read interviews with the illustrators behind the Slowpoke and Omanyte cards that appear in the collection. Fans can pick up a free copy at Uniqlo stores or online starting Aug. 11.
