There will be no bargain — Next year, game night is taking a trip to Jabba’s palace.
Z-Man Games has revealed a new, officially licensed card game inspired by the Star Wars universe. Titled Jabba’s Palace, this game will utilize the “draw a card, play a card” game mechanics of Z-Man’s popular social deduction game A Love Letter.
In the game, players compete using both members of the Rebel Alliance and the inhabitants of Jabba’s Palace, including Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Salacious Crumb, and Jabba the Hutt himself. Each illustrated character card comes with a different ability that players can use to help advance their position in the game. This game also introduces Agenda cards, which give players individual goals to ensure varied game strategies.
The game is designed to be both easy to learn and portable, with an included, branded bag for the game’s cards and tokens. Jabba’s Palace will be available early next year at select retailers, but it is available to preorder now from the Asmodee online store.
