The iconic superhero Captain Marvel is almost here. With the film three mere months away and a new trailer expected to drop later today, Marvel Studios debuted a brand-new movie poster that shows Brie Larson suited up and ready for action.
The new poster shows Larson in her Captain Marvel outfit and surrounded by a glow, a nod to the hero’s power. The poster’s background teases Carol Danvers’ life on Earth and her intergalactic history in a split-screen, as we’ve already seen in the first trailer.

The poster is a tease to the new trailer, expected to debut this evening during ESPN’s Monday Night Football during halftime of the NFL game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles.
Captain Marvel takes us to the 1990s for Carol Danvers’ origin story as the MCU heroine, and stars Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Crazy Rich Asians‘ Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law. The anticipated Marvel film debuts in theaters March 8.
