dr. suess clutches

Forget the Cat in the Hat —  it’s time for the Cat on the Olympia Le-Tan clutch.

In March, designer Olympia Le-Tan will release six of her iconic book-shaped clutches, all inspired by classic Dr. Seuss titles: How the Grinch Stole Christmas; Oh, The Places You’ll Go!; Green Eggs and Ham; The Cat in the Hat; One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; and Hunches in the Bunches. Each handmade, embroidered clutch is available in either a non-strapped or strapped version.

However, these beautiful literary bags don’t come cheap. For all but the Oh, the Places You’ll Go! clutch, the non-strapped versions will cost 1,100 euros (about $1,210), while the strapped versions will be 1,300 euros (about $1,430). The Oh, The Places You’ll Go! bag costs a bit more, at 1,200 for the non-strapped version and 1,400 euros for the strapped version. Don’t worry — the prices may be listed in euros, but these splurge-worthy bags ship to the U.S.

Which throwback title-turned-purse is your fave??
