Renegade Game Studios and Hasbro Pulse will release a brand new G.I. Joe game powered by Axis & Allies, which is a series of World War II strategy board games. This game will feature the classic gameplay of the series with a G.I. Joe twist.
G.I. Joe: Battle for the Arctic Circle will allow fans ages 14 and up to play as team G.I Joe or Cobra and battle to control the Arctic Circle. The game is designed for 2-4 players, and takes about 90 minutes to complete.
To keep things interesting, there are three different scenarios for players to explore. The gam comes with more than 100 plastic miniature figures, including Cruiser Ship Minis, Aircraft Carrier Minis, Rattler Aircraft Minis, Skystriker Aircraft Minis, W.O.L.F Vehicle Minis, Snow Cat Vehicle Minis, Snow Snooper Trooper Minis, G.I. JOE Trooper Minis, and more. It will also feature four completely new double-sided game boards.
Players can implement different game mechanisms and strategies, such as using the Weather Dominator to freeze the sea to block pathways or creating land bridges to elevate their gameplay.
Priced at $60, G.I. Joe: Battle for the Arctic Circle is available for pre-order now at hasbropulse.com, and will be available to ship around June 15.
