Game of Thrones Teaser Reveals Final Season Release Date

HBO aired a new teaser for Game of Thrones‘ final season last night, allowing fans to finally mark their calendars. The series’ six-episode final season will arrive on Sunday, April 14.

The tease, which looks to include footage shot specifically for the trailer, was directed by David Nutter, who won an Emmy award back in 2015 for the season five finale, “Mother’s Mercy.”

The footage is supported by an original score by Ramin Djawadi, who has worked extensively on the series.
