Kess is expanding its One Piece collection with One Piece: Escape from Egghead, a new board game created in partnership with Toei Animation. Sailing into Target stores this summer, the game joins Dawn of Liberation and Luffy’s Bento Panic.
Inspired by the latest complete arc of One Piece, the game catapults 1-4 players in a race to escape Egghead Island, using press-your-luck dice rolls and character abilities tied to fan-favorite heroes like Monkey D. Luffy and Jewelry Bonney. Players must defeat bosses and outpace the Marines in gameplay designed to capture the high-stakes energy of the series.

Escape from Egghead has a 30-60 minute playtime and streamlined mechanics; the board game offers a more accessible option compared to the strategy-heavy Dawn of Liberation, making it a fit for casual game nights and anime fans looking for a quicker experience. In both the anime and the manga, the arc lasted approximately two years.
The board game marks the third entry in Kess’s One Piece game line, building on the franchise’s continued momentum across entertainment and consumer products more than 25 years after its debut.Â
