Guillermo del Toro’s iconic movie Pan’s Labyrinth turns 20 this year, and it is getting the full birthday treatment at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) this year.
The highlight of these celebrations is the Pan’s Labyrinth x Comic-Con 2026 Fetch Quest. Thursday and Friday from 1-2:30 p.m., fans can stop by the Toynami booth (No. 3229), where they can find a special surprise for the movie’s anniversary, and the Insight Editions booth (No. 2129), where fans can check out two official books celebrating the movie, to get a ticket. Each player who completes the quest will receive a limited-edition Pan’s Labyrinth poster. The first 50 players to finish the quest will receive access to a private poster signing with del Toro on Saturday.

The movie is also making an appearance in Hall H with the Cineverse: Return of a Masterpiece – The 20th Anniversary of Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth panel Friday, July 24, from 5:15-6:15 p.m. During the panel, del Toro, Doug Jones, and Ivana Baquero will show off behind-the-scenes footage, a 3D 4K scene preview, and discuss the film’s legacy.
After the panel, the party is headed to PARQ for the Pan’s Labyrinth X Party at 7 p.m. at 615 Broadway in San Diego. The party will feature a venue transformed into the mystical realm of Pan’s Labyrinth, featuring a happy hour, a special screening of the film, and an exclusive live DJ set from producer and DJ Flying Lotus.
The celebrations wrap up on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Sails Pavilion, where del Toro, Jones, and Baquero will be signing autographs. No matter which Pan’s Labyrinth events you are headed to while you’re in San Diego, we know you’re bringing the whimsy from the movie with you.
