Upper Deck’s prints offer artwork from talented artists who bring your favorite fictional characters into a whole new world of art style. The brand has tons of prints available featuring your Marvel faves, but now the company is introducing two prints featuring Master Chief from Halo

The prints, made by artist Isaac Hannaford, use intricate light work to create a print that is full of depth. The first print, “Reclaimer” features Master Chief in the middle of battle while the second print, “Catacombs,” shows off the relationship between Master Chief and his holographic companion, Cortana.

“I kind of treated it like it was a studio image where I could put big lights and big shadow casters in there and just find the right situation,” Hannaford says. “There’s a Forerunner object in that foreground that is casting a shadow on the chief, so he is getting backlit which brings him really forward and makes him a powerful graphic image in that shot. And then he is getting rim lit from all the warm yellows and then a little sky bounce of blue on top of him. It’s kind of telling the story of entering into a dark space, making that transition from the outside to the inside. He is exploring, and entering a space where he has to be watching his back and so he’s got his weapon always ready. That is kind of the visual story that I was trying to tell there.”

These drops are super limited, with only 250 prints of Reclaimer and 100 prints of Catacombs. As of the time of publishing, the Catacombs print is already sold out. If you want to get your hands on the Reclaimer print, you have to act fast!
