Freddy Fazbear's Pizza opens in 2027 | Source: American Dream

Har, har, har, har, har — Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is finally becoming a real place.

Next year, American Dream will open the world’s first permanent restaurant based on Five Nights at Freddy’s, the gaming franchise that turned 12 today. The East Rutherford, New Jersey, entertainment and retail destination is developing the attraction with ScottGames.

“The only way this experience succeeds is if it’s created by a team that knows Five Nights at Freddy’s inside and out,” said Atreyu Alcantar, Creative Manager, Licensing & Location-Based Entertainment at American Dream and Creative Lead for the attraction. “The animatronic show has to be authentic. The food has to be high-quality. And above all else, we’re not building a set that looks like Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza — we’re building Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. This experience will immerse longtime fans in the world they’ve imagined for years while welcoming an entirely new audience to discover it for the first time.”

Visitors will dine in a quick-service restaurant, hit the arcade, and catch two animatronic shows. Freddy and the Fazbear Band will take the Main Stage, while Foxy the Pirate gets his own setup in Pirate Cove.

American Dream also plans multiplayer experiences inspired by the survival horror gameplay that made Five Nights at Freddy’s a global phenomenon, adding an interactive layer beyond food and entertainment.

Stay tuned for updates as they emerge.
